House: 17, Road: 4, Duaripara, Pallabi, Rupnagar, Mirpur, Dhaka-1216, Bangladesh | Cell# 0088-01974494682
Respected and honorable Patrons and Well-wishers,
Please take the good wishes of Swapnadhara. Sohag Swapnadhara Pathshala is an educational program of Swapnadhara Human Welfare Society. It is situated at Duaripara, Pallabi, Rupnagar, Mirpur, Dhaka-1216, Bangladesh. The school started its class on 7th July 2006 with 13 students, and now, in 2023, it has reached approximately 400 students. (But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we lost more than 200 students.) At first, the school was started in a rented sublet bachelor room for 3 hours to continue class. After some months, we rented an individual tin-shaded room for the school. Before school started, we seven friends made a Committee. The committee was registered from 'Join Stock Companies', then the Organization named as ‘Swapnadhara Human Welfare Society’ dated 7th September 2008. At present, Swapnadhara has two schools, one for Primary School and another for High School, and the number of rooms increases from 1 to 20 rooms. Swapnadhara has a total of 22 active staff, school teachers are 17, more staff are, the first is a chess coach, the second is a sports teacher, the third is a cultural teacher, and the fourth is a teachers training teacher. Remain one is a school keeper.
By taking with these 22 staff, Swapnadhara is continuing to reach its dreams come true. All have been working the whole year long to develop skills and education for the students. Our first participation was in the ‘Primary Education Certificate’ (PEC) exam in 2012, and our achievement was a 100% successful result. Also, in 2015 first participated in the JSC exam and in the SSC exam 2019. Here also us was 100% successful. After the long struggle this year, 2023, our thirteen students are going to face the SSC exam. Our Society is running with the help of some personnel and organizational cooperation donations.
From January 2023, Society’s monthly budget increased to 3,00,000/- (Three Lac-taka. Approximately -687/-Taka expense per student every month. The school runs 6 days a week, 5 days from Sunday to Thursday, educational classes, and only Saturday cultural (Curriculum) classes.
Our school serves tiffin once a week, like Bread and Egg, Bread and Milk, Egg and Milk, and sometimes fruits.
Three days a week, student players get a chance to perform their sports, and also on Saturday, students get an opportunity to express their aims and dreams to teachers.
Swapnadhara is always trying hard to fulfil their dreams, and so, Swapnadhara humbly requests that you please help these marginalized families’ children sustain their education.
Without your help and cooperation, Swapnadhara would never have been able to run the school, and also never bring them into discipline succession.
Thanks, and regards,
Shagorika Das
Head Teacher and Founder of Swapnadhara
Birth: August 10, 1981 and Passed: February 28, 2024
Note: This is her last letter to the Well-wishers of Swapnadhara Human Welfare Society.
Swaifuzzaman is one of the seven friends of Shagorika Das. They established Swapnadhara Pathshala on July 7, 2006. Saifuzzamn was born on 23 October 1984 in Devigonj, Panchagar, Bangladesh, and on December 13, 2008, he passed away.
After that, Shagorika Das Madam and her five friends had been running the school, and in that year, the school was registered as 'Swapnadhara Human Welfare Society', and all school activities were brought under the Swapnadhara Human Welfare Society. And after one year, the Swapnadhara School's name was changed to Sohag Swapnadhara Pathshala. Within two to three years, five friends were slowly joining their personal jobs. From then on, Shagorika Das Madam took every responsibility into her hands, and for almost 20 years, she alone had run the Swapnadhara. But sad is, she also left the world on February 28, 2024.
May God rest in peace.

It is cooperating and supporting several ways for the students. During the COVID-19 pandemic period, Swapnadhara has given remital to school students. Moreover, this organization makes such a place where students can continue their studies and never stop coming to school. We faced two dangerous problems over the last several years. We pray to the Almighty Allah so that He keeps them safe and sound. Swapnadhara is moving on with the help and cooperation of Patrons and well-wishers. Swapnadhara honors its Patrons and Well-wishers as they are the reservoir of the energy and the power of the Swapnadhara.
