Please take the good wishes of Swapnadhara. Sohag Swapnadhara Pathshala is an educational program of Swapnadhara Human Welfare Society. It is situated at Duaripara, Pallabi, Rupnagar, Mirpur Dhaka-1216, Bangladesh. The school started its class on 7th July 2006 with 13 students and now 2023 it’s reached approximately 400 students. (But due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we lost more than 200 students.) At first, the school was started in a rented sublet bachelor room for 5 hours to continue class. After some months, we rent an individual tin-shaded room for the school. Before school starts, we seven friends made a Committee. The committee was registered from 'Join Stock Companies', then the Organization named as ‘Swapnadhara Human Welfare Society’ dated 7th September 2008. At present, Swapnadhara has two schools, one for Primary School and another for High School, and room increases from 1 to 20 rooms. Swapnadhara has a total of 22 active staff, school teachers are 17, more staff are, the first is a chess coach, the second is a sports teacher, the third is a cultural teacher, and the fourth is a teachers training teacher. Remain one is school keeper.
Taking with these 22 staff, Swapnadhara is ongoing to reach the dreams come true. All have been working the whole year long to develop skills and education for the students. Our first participation was in the ‘Primary Education Certificate’ (PEC) exam in 2012 and our achievement was a 100% successful result. Also, in 2015 first, participate in the JSC exam and in the SSC exam 2019. Here also us was 100% successful. After the long struggle this year 2023, our thirteen students are going to face the SSC exam.
Our Society is running with the help of some personnel and organizational cooperation donations. From January 2013, Society’s monthly budget increased to 3,50,000/- (Three Lac-taka. Approximately, -687/-Taka expense per student every month. The school runs 6 days a week, 5 days from Sunday to Thursday educational classes and only Saturday cultural (Curriculum) classes. Our school serves tiffin once a week like Bread and Egg, Bread and Milk, Egg and Milk, and sometimes fruit. Weekly three days, student players get a chance to perform their sports. On Saturday, students get a chance to express their aims and dreams to teachers.

Swapnadhara always trying harder to fulfill their dreams, and so, Swapnadhara humbly requests you please help these marginalized families’ children sustain their education.

Without you and your help and cooperation, Swapnadhara never executes to run the school, and never brings them in discipline succession.

Swaifuzzaman is one of the Co-founder of Swapnadhara Pathshala. Saifuzzaman Sohag was born at Devigonj, Panchagar, Bangladesh on 23 October 1984. He and his 7 friends started an Education Program taking with 13 students in the year 2006.
After his left, School has become in a form of an organization namely Sohag Swapnadhara Pathshala, situated at Duaripara, Pallabi, Mirpur, Dhaka under Swapnadhara Human Welfare Society.
By the rules of nature, our brother Saifuzzaman Sohag ended his journey and went back to where did he come from on 13 December, 2008.
Now he stayed in the memories. After his departure, some of his friends registered the school name remembering Saifuzzaman Sohag as Sohag Swapnadhara Pathshala. Now, this school is activating all educational programs under of the Swapnadhara Human Welfare Society.
Now, one of his friend Shagorika Das Co-founder performing all kinds of activities and she is the Head teacher now.

About Swapnadhara: Bangladesh is a poor nation with 160 million people. Poverty is the main reason of illiteracy here. Side by side, family planning program is not as strong as the developed nations that are way; the proportion of the children is really huge in number, even among the poor countries too. Government’s education program did not able to cover all levels of the society as a result; the level of education did not reach the expected level yet. Swapnadhara stands beside for those underprivileged children who are not able to go to school or dropped out from the very beginning point of schooling. Swapnadhara was organized with the aim to support those children with the lighten of basic and real life education.

History: As a citizen of the country, we all has some responsibilities for the country as well as the society. 2005; during conversion among friends a dream came out to build a society where illiteracy will not take any place. Then, with a school, Swapnadhara’s dream was started-up. It’s a stream dream to spread out the light of education to those who have no ability to access it. Swapnadhara believes that education is the backbone of a nation, while the child education is much more important. Swapnadhara Human Welfare Society is such an organization, was established in 7th July 2006 and registered in 7th September 2008 under Join Sock Companies and Firms.

Vision: Swapnadhara focus on the education of the people who are living under poverty line. Spreading education and skill development are the most important preconditions for attaining the goal of poverty alleviation in Bangladesh.

Mission: Education as basic needs, Swapnadhara focus on providing this essential to the people who are living bellow the poverty line. Now “Sohag Swapnadhara Pathshala” is one of the important activity of it through which has been trying to educate the slum children at Duaripara, Pallabi, Rupnagar, Mirpur, Dhaka-1216.

>> Swapnadhara is a non-profitable, non-government charitable organization. It is an educational organization, that organizes basic education for the poor, ultra-poor parents’ children. It is cooperating and supporting several ways to the students. During the COVID-19 pandemic period, Swapnadhara has been giving relief to school students. Moreover, this organization makes such kind of a place where students can continue their studies and never stop coming to school.
We faced two dangerous problems last several years. One is ‘Duaripara Government Eviction Mission 2019 and secondly the COVID-19 pandemic. For these two dangerous problems, Swapnadhara has lost almost 200 children. We pray to the Almighty Creator so that He keep them safe and sound.
Swapnadhara is moving on with the help and cooperation of Patrons and well-wishers. Swapnadhara honors its Patrons and Well-wishers as they are the reservoir of the energy and the power of the Swapnadhara.

Source of Income for Swapnadhara: Swapnadhara’s main source of income is from executive committee member’s subscription, donation from personnel and organizational.

Income Generating Activities for students: Swapnadhara is trying to create students financially self reliant by providing training to make retail grocery packaging items and handicrafts, as a part time job. In reality this project is very small to supports their study. They always try to move for work and for support their family economically. However, sometimes they came to take only the vocational training; Swapnadhara supports them as their desire with the basic education and public health knowledge.

Future Plan: Swapnadhara will support the children continuously to take them education and vocational training that is way, they may get a enhanced living standard. The students who have no legal parents, Swapnadhara will be also with them with its maximum support and empathy by providing shelter and also trying for livelihood facilities. The main objective of Swapnadhara is to fulfill the basic needs and enhance the level of living standard for the under privileged children.
